The Abolition Fund

$13.00 per Month to Fund the Abolitionist Movement in Phoenix

On February 1, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln signed into law the 13th Amendment, officially abolishing slavery and involuntary servitude in the United States. The passage of the 13th Amendment seemed to be the final capstone act of a growing and powerful abolitionist movement that sought to ensure justice and human dignity to all people. However, pressing issue of the 19th century has resurged to exponential proportions. Slavery still exists... today... in the United States... in our own backyard.

The average age of entry into child prostitution in Phoenix is 13 years old. Through coercion, manipulation and force, predators force thousands of young girls across the country into a life of sexual slavery and exploitation. As was the trade in the 19th Century, the trafficking of minors for sexual purposes is considered a business... profits to be made from raping children.

Today, there is more of a need than ever before for a loud, united abolitionist movement. Just as there are more slaves in the world day, than ever before in history, we must multiply the ranks of abolitionists to outnumber and overpower such a heinous injustice.

The BRANDED Abolition Fund is way to resource the growing abolitionist movement aimed at eradicating child sex slavery throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. We believe that a broad, diversified Awareness campaign, that both educates and equips people to act, we can thoroughly impact the slave trade in Phoenix.
